What is TISP?
The Teacher In-Service Program (TISP)
enables IEEE volunteers to share their
technical expertise and demonstrate the
application of engineering concepts to
support the teaching and learning of
science, mathematics and technology
disciplines.
IEEE offers training workshops for its
members on how to provide in-service
programs to local pre-university educators.

Where to find lesson plans for
the workshops?
IEEE has developed several lesson plans as part of
the Teacher In-Service Program for use by engineers
and teachers. Additional plans have been developed
as part of www.tryengineering.org,
a resource for students, their parents, their
teachers and their school counselors. Each lesson
plan is tied to education standards and includes
teacher summaries, student worksheets, and
activities.
Many of these lesson plans are available in
the following languages:
English, Spanish, Portuguese,Chinese, French, Russian, German and Japanese. Read more ...
